Power to summon and enforce attendance of witnesses
and production of documents Matters to be considered and
neglected are defined under section 14 and 15 of Land
Acquisition Act 1894. Provisions under these Sections
are:
Section 14 of Land Acquisition Act 1894 "Power to summon and enforce attendance of witnesses and production of documents"
For the purpose of enquiries under this Act the Collector shall have power to summon and enforce the attendance of witnesses, including the parties interested or any of them, and to compel the production of documents by the same means, and (so far as may be) in the same manner, as is provided in the case of a Civil Court under the [Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (5 of 1908)

In determining the amount of compensation, the Collector shall be guided by the provisions contained in sections 23 and 24.
