Steps to apply online for a Driving License
Step 1: Visit the Website of https://sarathi.parivahan.gov.in/sarathiservice/stateSelection.do
The following menu will open
Step 2: Select your sate from the list Select State Name
Step 3: Click on Apply Online
Step 4: Click on New Learners License or New Driving License
e.g. for Delhi the following Menu will appear
After this stage you have to complete the following process:
1. Fill Applicant Details
2. Upload Documents
3. Upload Photo and Signature if required
4. Driving License Test Slot Booking
5. Payment of Fee
1. Fill Applicant Details for a Driving License
Step 5: Click on Continue
The following Menu will open
Step 6: Fill Necessary Information
Step 7: Click on Submit Button
Now you will Receive your application No
2. Uploading Documents for Driving License
Step 8: Now go to Select State Name
Step 9: Click on Upload Documents
Step 10: Click on Upload Documents/ Scanned Images
The following Menu will open
Step 11: Enter your application No and Date of Birth
Step 12: Click on Submit Button
3. Fill Photograph and Details
Step 13: Now come to Upload Documents Option

Step 14: Fill Application No and Date of Birth
Step 15: Click on Get Details
Step 16: Upload Photo and Signature
Step 17: Click on Upload and View Files and Submit
4. Booking Time Slot for appointment

Step 20: Click on Learners License Test or Driving Skill Test

Fill Application No, Date of Birth and Enter Verification Code
Step 22: Click on Submit Button
5. Paying fee online for Driving License
Step 23: Now go to Select State Name
Step 24: Click on Fee/ Payments
The following Menu will appear
Step 25: Click on Proceed
The Following Menu will open
Step 26: Fill Information and Pay Fee
