How to Register a Birth Online in West Bengal
- Open Janma-Mrityu Tathya.

Delayed Birth Registration: Current Law

Applicable Acts and West Bengal Rules
The principal legislation is the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969, as amended by the Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Act, 2023. The official West Bengal portal also lists the West Bengal Registration of Births and Deaths Rules, 2000 and the West Bengal State Rule Amendment, 2006 under its regulatory framework.
