How to Register with Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme in Delhi
Practicing Advocates who are enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi and are also in the Voters list of Delhi can register with the Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme Delhi. The Registration can be done online by following simple process.

Benefits of registration under the scheme are:
- Group (Term) Insurance for practicing advocates providing life cover of Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs) per advocate.
- Group Medi-claim coverage for the advocates, their spouse and two dependent children up to the age of 25 years, for a family floater sum insured of Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs).
- E-library with 10 computers loaded with e-journals and web editions of e-journals, along with printers in all the 6 district courts.
- Creche facility for advocates and staff employees in each of the 6 district courts.
Government of NCT of Delhi has announced the Chief Minister Advocates' Welfare Scheme vide Order No. 5(50)/Lit/LJ&LA/19 (CD No. 064546413)/7122-24 dated 29.11.2019, a Committee consisting of Advocates was constituted with the mandate to propose a Scheme for the welfare of Advocates so that the budget outlay of Rs. 50 crores sanctioned by Government of NCT of Delhi is utilized properly for the welfare of all Advocates.

Last date for online registration as published by BCD is 15.07.2023. If you are not able to register by that date, please check the website to know about extension if any granted for online registration.
Steps to register under Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme
Step 1 : Open the Website http://www.cmaws.delhi.gov.in/
The following Menu will open:
If you are a registered user enter login name, password, Captcha and Click on Login.
If you are a new user
Step 2: Click on NEW USER
The following menu will open
Step 3: Enter your Mobile Number and Aadhar Number and click on Get OTP
The following Menu will Open:
Step 4: Enter OTP Received and Click on Verify OTP
Now the following user Registration form will appear
Step 5: Fill the required information
Your Name
Your Aadhaar Number
Mobile Number
Email ID
New Password
Step 6: click on Register Button
Step 7: After registration open the home page with this link http://www.cmaws.delhi.gov.in/
The following menu will open
Step 8: Enter your Email ID, password, Captcha and Click on Login
The following Menu will open
Step 9: Fill the Personal Details, Nominee details and Click on Submit
Now your registration under Chief Minister's Advocate Welfare Fund Delhi is over. You will receive Unique ID number on your mobile number and through email.
