As per section 194IA of the Income Tax Act a buyer of immovable property that costs more than Rs.50 lakhs is required to deduct 1% TDS on property while paying the seller. TDS deducted by the buyer has to be deposited within a period of 30 days from the end of the month in which the deduction has been made.

Select 0020 for Corporation Tax or 0021 for Income Tax other than companies
No need to select Financial Year and Assessment Year
Status of the Payee / Seller / Transferor: Select Resident or Non Resident
Permanent Account Number (PAN) of Buyer: Fill PAN of Buyer
Category of PAN of Transferee: It will appear automatically
Confirm Permanent Account Number of Transferee: Reenter PAN of Buyer
Permanent Account Number of Transferor: Enter PAN of seller
District : Select District from the List
Confirm Permanent Account Number of Transferor : Re enter PAN of seller
Step 4: Click on Next

Mobile Number
Whether more than One Transferee/Buyer: Select Yes or no
Complete Address of the Transferor (Seller)

Step 5: Click on Next

Step 6: Enter required information
Complete Address of Property Transferred
Type of Property: Select from the List
Address: Fill address, State and PIN code
Date of Agreement: Fill Date of agreement /allotment
Total Value of Consideration : Fill Total sale amount of Property
Property Type: Select property type from the list
Date of Payment / Credit: Fill the date
Date of Tax Deduction: Fill the date
Amount paid/ Credited: Fill the amount
Tax Details
Total Amount paid / Credited: Fill total amount paid or credited to the seller
Rate of TDS: Select from the list
Basic Tax: Fill tax amount paid
Interest: Fill interest amount for late payment if any
Fee: Fill amount of other fee if any
Step 7: Click on Next
Now the details filled by you will be displayed on the Screen. Check it.
Step 8: Click on Confirm
Step 9: Login to the Bank or Fill Debit Card Number and Make Payment
After making payment paid, challan will be displayed on the screen. Download copy of challan and take printout.
Now the payment of TDS on Property is over.
