LLB Entrance Exam Notes 2026: DU LL.B., MAH CET & CLAT Study Material

Important admission update: Delhi University's three-year LL.B. admissions for 2026-27 are handled through CUET(PG) and the University's admission/CSAS process. CLAT is used for admission to five-year integrated LL.B. programmes at participating National Law Universities. MAH-LL.B. 3-Year CET is conducted separately by the Maharashtra State CET Cell. Always verify the current year's bulletin before applying.

India's principal new criminal codes-the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (BNS), Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS) and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023 (BSA)-came into force on 1 July 2024, subject to the notified exception relating to BNS section 106(2). Entrance candidates should study the current codes while also recognising IPC/CrPC/Evidence Act terminology where older judgments, questions or historical material use it.
