Updated information for donating to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister's Relief Fund (AP CMRF), including the current PAN, official bank accounts, contact details, donation receipt guidance and the applicable income-tax deduction provision.

Current tax-law position: From 1 April 2026, donation deductions are governed by Section 133 of the Income-tax Act, 2025. For earlier years governed by the Income-tax Act, 1961, the corresponding provision was Section 80G. Income-Tax Deduction for AP CMRF Donation

Section 133(1)(a)(xv) of the Income-tax Act, 2025 provides for deduction of the whole eligible donation to a Chief Minister's Relief Fund or Lieutenant Governor's Relief Fund where the statutory conditions for the fund are satisfied. The corresponding provision for tax years governed by the Income-tax Act, 1961 was Section 80G.

The deduction is for a donation made as a sum of money. Where the donation exceeds ₹2,000, deduction is not available if the payment is made in cash. For larger donations, use banking or other permitted non-cash channels and retain the official receipt.

When preparing the income-tax return, use the particulars stated in the official donation receipt/certificate. The exact return schedule and field labels may vary with the applicable return form and tax year.
