Uttarakhand Chief Minister Relief Fund: PAN, Bank Account & Tax Deduction
Find the Uttarakhand Chief Minister Relief Fund (CM Relief Fund) donation details, SBI bank account, IFSC, address, PAN information and the current income-tax rules for claiming an eligible donation deduction.
Uttarakhand CM Relief Fund tax deduction
A qualifying donation to the Uttarakhand Chief Minister's Relief Fund falls in the category of specified donations eligible for a 100% deduction without a qualifying limit, subject to the conditions of the applicable income-tax law and the donor's tax regime.
Important tax-regime point: under the default new tax regime, most Chapter VIII deductions-including the donation deduction under Section 133-are not available. A taxpayer wishing to claim eligible deductions must be entitled to, and validly choose, the regular/old regime as applicable to that tax year.
For donations exceeding ₹2,000, the deduction is allowed only when payment is made by a mode other than cash. Keep the official receipt/payment confirmation and use the donee details appearing on the receipt while preparing the return.
