Any one can know the status and details of cases filed in any court of India by providing limited information about the case. Online system of case management brought huge transparency and convenience in accessing cases filed in India. You can get the details and current status of the cases filed in India entering few details about the case. This facility can be accessed through mobile phone also.
You can check online case status in District and Taluka Courts in the following methods:
Steps 1 to 5 are common to track cases status by all the above methods.
Step 1: Visit the Website of Ecourt https://ecourts.gov.in/ecourts_home/

Step 2: Go to District Court Services
Step 3: Click on Click here for District Court Services
Page of the website with the following menu will open.
Step 4: Chose the language you want from the top right menu.

Step 5: Go to Search menu shown at the Left side of the Website
Step 6: Click on CNR Number
The following Menu will open
Step 7: Enter CNR Number (It is 16 digit alpha numerical number)
Step 8: Enter Captcha code showing on the Screen. If not visible click on refresh.
Step 9: Click on Search Button
Now Your case details and status will be displayed on the Screen

Step 6: Click on Case Status
The following Menu will open
Step 7: Select State, District and Court Complex
Now the following Menu will Open
Step 8: Enter Petitioner / Respondent Name
Step 9: Enter Case Registration Year
Step 10: Chose Pending, disposed or both
Step 11: Captcha code showing on the Screen. If not visible click on refresh
Step 12: Click on Go Button
Now Your case details and status will be displayed on the Screen

Step 7: Select State, District and Court Complex
Now the following Menu will Open
Step 8: Click on Case Number
Step 9: Select Case list from the Menu
Step 10: Type Case Number and Year of Case

Step 12: Click on Go Button
Now Your case details and status will be displayed on the Screen

Step 9: Type Filing Number
Step 10: Type Year of Case

Now Your case details and status will be displayed on the Screen

Step 9: Select Advocate Name, Bar Code or Date case List
Step 10: Type Advocate Name
Step 11: Select Pending Disposed or Both

Step 13: Click on Go Button
Now Your case details and status will be displayed on the Screen

Step 8: Click on FIR Number
Step 9: Select Police Station from the List
Step 10: Type FIR Number
Step 11: Select Pending Disposed or Both
Step 12: Captcha code showing on the Screen. If not visible click on refresh
Step 13: Click on Go Button
Now Your case details and status will be displayed on the Screen

Step 9: Enter the name of Act in Search Act Column
Step 10: Select Act Type from the List
Step 11: Type section in the Under Section column
Step 12: Select Pending or Disposed
Step 13: Captcha code showing on the Screen. If not visible click on refresh
Step 14: Click on Go Button
Now Your case details and status will be displayed on the Screen
