What is CNR Number?
CNR Number is a unique number assigned to each case filed in district and taluka courts. You can get the details and current status of the case by entering CNR Number. This facility can be accessed through mobile phone also.
Steps to search district and taluka court cases by using CNR Number
Step 1: Visit the Website of Ecourt https://ecourts.gov.in/ecourts_home/

Step 2: Go to District Court Services
Step 3: Click on Click here for District Court Services
Page of the website with the following menu will open.
Step 4: Chose the language you want from the top right menu.
Step 5: Go to Search menu shown at the Left side of the Website
Step 6: Click on CNR Number
The following Menu will open
Step 7: Enter CNR Number (It is 16 digit alpha numerical number)
Step 8: Enter Captcha code showing on the Screen. If not visible click on refresh.
Step 9: Click on Search Button
In case you don't know the CNR number of the Case, the case status can be searched by other options like Case Registration Number, Party Name, Advocate Name etc.
