Section 25S of Industrial Disputes Act 1947 : "Certain provisions of Chapter V-A to apply to an industrial establishment to which this Chapter applies"

25S. The provisions of sections 25B, 25D, 25FF, 25G, 25H and 25J in Chapter V-A shall, so far as may be, apply also in relation to an industrial establishment to which the provisions of this Chapter apply.

STATE AMENDMENTS

RAJASTHAN
In section 25S after the expression "provision of this Chapter apply", the expression "or are applied under sub-section (1A) of section 25K" shall be added. -Rajasthan Act No. 8 of 1984.

GUJARAT
After section 25S, the following new section shall be inserted, namely :-
"25SS. Removal of doubt as to effect of other laws - For the removal of doubt it is hereby declared that notwithstanding anything contained in any other law for the time being in force in the State providing for settlement of industrial disputes, the rights and liabilities of employers and workmen in relation to closure shall be determined in accordance with the provisions of this Chapter." - Gujarat Act No. 20 of 1984.
