How to reschedule Appointment date with Transport Department and get new a new date

You can reschedule online the date of appointment with RTO for vehicle related services through the web portal of Vahan.parivahan.gov.in. Applications related to Reschedule of appointment date can be filed online. The steps to apply online to reschedule appointment date with RTO are explained here:

Steps to Reschedule date of appointment with RTO

Step 1: Visit the Website of Vahan eservices Ministry of Road Transport and Highways

The following Menu will open

Vahan.Parivahan.gov.in Home Page

Step 2: Click on Login

The following Menu will Open

If you are not Registered with the website please register with the following Link.

Register with vahan.parivahan.gov.in

Step 3: Enter User ID, Password and Security Code showing on the Screen

Step 4: Click on Submit

The Following Menu will Open

Appointment reschedule online with RTO

Step 5: After Logon, Click on Other Services and Select Appointment Reschedule

The following menu will appear

Step 6: Enter Vehicle Registration Number, Chassis Number last 5 digit

Step 7: Click on Generate OTP

Now you will receive OTP on the registered Mobile Number

Step 8: Enter OTP and Click on Submit Button

Step 9: Click on Appointment under Service Details

Step 10: Select Date Slot available and Click on Book Now

Step 11: Click on Fee details under Service Details. Click on Make Payment, Submit and proceed to pay the required fee.

Step 12: Select Payment Gateway, Press Continue and make Payment.

After making payment a receipt will be generated. Please take the printout of Receipt. Visit the RTO with receipt and other original documents on the appointment date. After submission/ verification of documents.
