How to calculate Road Tax online for vehicles in Delhi and all states in India

You can calculate online road tax payable for your vehicle to RTO through the web portal of Vahan.parivahan.gov.in. Motor Vehicle tax of Taxi, Auto Rickshaw, Truck, Lorry, Container, Tractor etc can be calculated online for different Regional Transport Offices in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal and Union Territories of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Lakshadweep and Puducherry, Ladakh. Steps to Calculate Motor Vehicle Tax online for all states

Step 1: Visit the Website of Ministry of Road Transport and Highways

The following Menu will open

Calculate Road Tax online

Step 2: Click on Know your MV Tax

The following Menu will Open

Step 3: Enter Vehicle Information

Select State : Select your state from the list

Vehicle Type : Select Vehicle Type Transport or Non Transport

Vehicle Class : Select Vehicle Class from the list

Vehicle Category : Select Vehicle Category from the list

Registration Date : Type Registration date of Vehicle

Purchase Date : Type Purchase date of vehicle

Tax Mode : Select Tax mode from the List

Step 4: Enter Verification Code shown on the Screen

Step 5: Click on Get Tax Details

Now amount of tax payable for your vehicle will be calculated and shown on the Screen.

Note: On the basis of type of vehicle, more details like fuel type, permit details etc may be asked while filling the form. Please fill all the fields to get Tax details.
