How to Apply for Change of Address in RC with Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and pay fees online
You can apply online for change of your address in the Vehicle Registration Certificate. To file application you have to visit the webportal vahan.parivahan.gov.in, login to the website and apply. If you are not registered with the website, after registering with the Web Portal, you can log on to the website and avail service of application for change in address in Vehicle RC. Steps to Apply for Change of Address in Vehicle RC
Step 1: Visit the Website of Vahan eservices Ministry of Road Transport and Highways
The following Menu will open
Step 2: Click on Login
The following Menu will Open
If you are not Registered with the website please register with the following Link.
Register with vahan.parivahan.gov.in
Step 3: Enter User ID, Password and Security Code showing on the Screen
Step 4: Click on Submit
Step 5: After Logon, Click on Online Services and Select Vehicle Related Services
Step 6: Enter Vehicle Registration Number, Chassis Number last 5 digit
Step 7: Click on Generate OTP
Now you will receive OTP on the registered Mobile Number
Step 8: Enter OTP and Click on Submit Button
The Following Menu will appear
Step 9: Click on Chang of Address in RC and Submit
Step 10: Click on Change address in RC at the Left Menu
Step 11: Fill Details and Click on Submit
Step 12: Click on Insurance Details under Service Details. Fill it and Click on Submit
Step 13: Click on DMS (Upload Docs) to upload documents
Step 14: Click on Appointment under Service Details. Select date for which slot is available. Click on Book Now
Step 15: Click on Fee details under Service Details. Click on Make Payment, Submit and proceed to pay the required fee.
Step 16: Select Payment Gateway and Press Continue.
After making payment a receipt will be generated. Please take the printout of Receipt. Visit the RTO with receipt and other original documents. After submission/ verification of documents, your address in the Vehicle Registration Certificate will be changed.
