Modify application with RTO and upload documents online

How to modify application filed with Transport Department and filed DMS document online

You can modify the application already filed with the Transport Department and file DMS document online through the web portal of Vahan.parivahan.gov.in. Applications related to to Private vehicles, Car, Bus, Two Wheeler, Truck, Tractor, Auto Rickshaw etc can be modified online and upload new document. The steps to apply online for upload DMS document are explained here:

Steps to file upload DMS Document online

Step 1: Visit the Website of Vahan eservices Ministry of Road Transport and Highways

The following Menu will open

Vahan.Parivahan.gov.in Home Page

Step 2: Click on Login

The following Menu will Open

If you are not Registered with the website please register with the following Link.

Register with vahan.parivahan.gov.in

Step 3: Enter User ID, Password and Security Code showing on the Screen

Step 4: Click on Submit

The Following Menu will Open

DMS upload or Modify documents

Step 5: After Logon, Click on Other Services and Select DMS Upload / Modify Documents

The following menu will appear

Step 6: Enter Application Number and Click on Submit

The following menu will open

RTO document modify online

Step 7: Click on Modify option for the document you want to modify

Step 8: Choose file and browse the file you want to upload

Step 9: Save Changes and Upload File

Step 10: Click Close button to return to the main Menu

Step 11: Repeat the above steps to upload more file

Step 12: After selecting files Press x button at the top when you are done.

Step 13: Click on ok to Complete upload / modify document process
