How to Register a Death Online in West Bengal

Who Issues the Death Certificate?
West Bengal's statewide civil-registration notification provides that where a death occurs in a Government hospital, the certificate is issued by that Government hospital. Where a death occurs in a private clinical establishment, home or another place, the certificate is issued by the concerned local body, such as the Municipality, Corporation or Gram Panchayat.
Delayed Death Registration: Current Law
